It had everything we felt we were looking for. It was far enough from home to feel like a holiday but with a short flight time (1 hour, 45 minutes) and an easy 45-minute taxi transfer on the other end. Evian promised rambling grounds with plenty of pram-friendly paths, children’s play areas and baby-friendly meals in multiple restaurants and bars. There was a spa, and most importantly of all, there was a dedicated Baby Club that welcomed infants from as young as four months. Which meant that Thea and I would also get some much-overdue 1-to-1 time to catch up, sans-bébés.
