What I loved most was the feeling of space. The resort has 135 rooms, yet feels expansive, thanks to its terraced layout, generous communal areas and four pools, including one for kids and one that’s adults-only. Everywhere you look, there’s a nod to the region’s artisanal heritage with hand-painted pottery, woven rugs and carved olive wood furniture dotted around. It’s luxurious but lived-in, like a glamorous friend’s coastal villa rather than a hotel trying too hard.
